The metaverse is a future for the internet that seems to be taking shape in many different forms. Some see it as an interactive video game, while others believe this could lead us into more deeply uncomfortable territory with Zoom-like functionality.
A lot of people refer obliquely or directly at things like 'cyberspace' when they're talking about what our lives will look likes twenty years from now - but there's always been one constant: The need for virtual reality technology has never changed since its inception!
In an interview with Bloomberg, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that one day his company might be able to build the metaverse - a virtual world where people can live and interact in what they see on their screens. And while some experts are excited about this idea as it could bring new innovation opportunities like video game-like experiences or even online shopping malls without relying on physical stores nearby; others find those prospects deeply problematic for society at large because of how easy accesibility would become if we had such expansive interactive worlds available 24/7 everywhere all across our lives!
